Faros Hotel Old City - Special Category Istanbul

The breakfast at the hotel was amazing with a huge variety of food and great coffee. The staff at the attached restaurant and breakfast room were excellent, providing excellent service. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant multiple times as the food was good. The housekeeping was excellent and the bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel was superb, right near a tram station, making it convenient to explore the city. We appreciated the mini fridge, regular provision of water, and the fruit plate. The presence of a safe, desk area, and seating area were also great additions. The small reception and elevator for 2 with bags were useful.

Felt like they were family, nothing to complain about.

I had a great stay here! The location was perfect for exploring the city's top attractions, and the staff provided excellent service. The hotel is conveniently located near all the main attractions in the Sultanahmet area, making it easy to explore the city. The Sultanahmet tram station is just a short walk away, providing easy access to transportation.

The staff was friendly and helpful, arranging early check-in, airport transfers, and even packing us a breakfast to go. the location was also convenient, with major sights within walking distance.

The rooms were old and tired, not at all like the photos. the bathroom had mold and damage.
